1. Polyester Resin

24th Nov. 2016, PTA product index was 47.14, descended 53.67% comparing with the period high and rose 18.44% comparing with the period low 39.80.

Status and forecast: PTA current price temporarily stable, but forced by the  continuous price rise of NPG and IPA, the major domestic polyester manufacturers expected that polyester resin will rise in December. But considering that the polyester price has been rose 7 times this year, the rise amount would not be more than 500RMB/T.

2. Epoxy Resin

24th Nov. 2016, epoxy chloropropane product index was 56.85, descended 43.15% comparing with the period high, rose 21.34% comparing with the period low 46.85.  (Remark: the period means since 1st Sep. 2011 up to now )

Status and forecast: Recently, bisphenol A rose much, epoxy chloropropane keep stable. Environmental protection is still a big challenge for the solid epoxy resin industry. With the pressure of environmental issue, manufacturers production limited seriously. Low capability and less inventory result in cost increasing for the downstream epoxy manufacturers. The price of epoxy resin price is almost open affected by the main raw material price. Thus many epoxy resin manufacturers can not follow up the fast price changes of the material. Epoxy resin price will keep rising in Dec.

3. Titanium dioxide

24th Nov. Titanium dioxide index was 66.39, descended 33.61% comparing with the period high, rose 28.46% comparing with the period low.

(Remark:the period means since 1st Sep. 2011 up to now)

Status and forecast:Overall, titanium dioxide rose and will keep rising in 2016. After the downturn in 2015, titanium dioxide soon got into the rise channel, the price has risen by 50% comparing with the early this year. Mainly by titanium dioxide production reduction, downstream demand increasing, environmental protection supervision, and others cost increasing. Dealers and the downstream are becoming numb for the long time continuous price rise. The first thought of bluff became the real rise, in addition the year end coming, the motivation of stock preparing become strong. The tight supply of titanium dioxide will accelerate the prices rise. The price of titanium dioxide will continuously rise in December. Basically the whole year price rise trend could not be changed.

4. Curing Agent

TGIC：At present, the TGIC chlorine price is quite stable, for the environment issue and production limit, most TGIC manufacturers are lack of supply. The price will keep stable or rising and the shortage of supply will continue in Dec.

HAA, The shortage of TGIC increased the demand of HAA,  HAA price will  keep stable or rise slightly in Dec.
